About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Respiratory Consultant to join our team at the Leeds Children's Hospital. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with respiratory conditions, including cystic fibrosis, chronic lung disease, and sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of respiratory conditions
  • Work closely with colleagues in other specialist teams to provide seamless, integrated care
  • Contribute to research, teaching, and new developments within the Paediatric Respiratory Service
  • Participate in on-call duties, including acute ward rounds and out-of-hours cover
Requirements
  • MRCPCH (or equivalent) and inclusion on the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT
  • Established skills in all aspects of Paediatric Respiratory Medicine and related specialties
  • Strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of clinical experience and competence in paediatric respiratory cases
