Paediatric Respiratory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Respiratory Specialist to join our team at the Leeds Children's Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients within the Paediatric Respiratory department.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Care to Patients: Provide expert care to patients in out-patient clinics, supervise patients, and care for in-patients within the Paediatric Respiratory department.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Link with Consultant colleagues in other relevant specialist teams within Paediatrics and across the Leeds Children's Hospital to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Acute On-Call Coverage: Work with colleagues in Paediatric Respiratory to deliver acute on-call coverage for Paediatric Respiratory Medicine, including out-of-hours remote cover and acute ward rounds during normal working hours and weekends.
- Contribute to Research and Development: Contribute to research, teaching, and new developments within the Paediatric Respiratory Service, including facilitating and contributing to ongoing clinical research programs and maintaining a current Good Clinical Practice certificate (GCP).
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. A Good Clinical Practice certificate (GCP) and experience in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine are essential.
