Job Title: Customer Complaints Advisor

Location: Milton Keynes, Hybrid

Salary: £27,000 / £13.85 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Temporary - 12 months

At Ascendant Recruitment, we are seeking a skilled Customer Complaints Advisor to join our team. As a Customer Complaints Advisor, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving customer complaints in a fair and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate written and verbal complaints, gathering all relevant information to ensure a thorough understanding of the issue
  • Judge cases to ensure fair and appropriate customer outcomes within relevant limits of authority
  • Evaluate customer circumstances, inconvenience, and distress to achieve an appropriate resolution from a wide range of potential options
  • Negotiate with internal departments to aid case resolution
  • Manage diagnostic and triage processes across multiple channels to effectively categorize, route, and prioritize cases
  • Accurately report and log all actions through company systems to support root cause analysis and reporting requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a complaint handling environment
  • Ability to demonstrate systematic thought processes and plan and manage own workload/delivery
  • Strong customer focus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • High level of emotional intelligence and resilience
  • Ability to cope under pressure and meet strict deadlines
