About the Role

In this rewarding position as an Activities Coordinator at HC-One, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional care and services to our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement activity programmes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events and community outreach initiatives
  • Provide support and guidance to residents in developing their confidence and social skills
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure seamless integration of activities into daily routines
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in a care or community setting
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong IT skills and ability to manage digital platforms
  • Commitment to safeguarding and ability to recognize signs of abuse or neglect
