Ward Clerk/Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Ward Clerk/Receptionist. This role will be instrumental in providing a welcoming and professional service to patients and visitors at our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the ward team, including attending and outcoming outpatient attendances, admitting and discharging patients, and updating patient demographic details.
- Liaise with clinical teams to ensure all necessary documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Assist with the coordination of patient appointments and investigations, ensuring that patients receive timely and efficient care.
- Provide a high level of customer service to patients and visitors, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Good level of general education.
- Previous experience of working in a customer services environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
