Head of Legal Practice and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Legal Practice and Compliance Specialist to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the firm's compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective compliance policies and procedures to ensure the firm's regulatory compliance.
  2. Provide guidance and support to staff on compliance matters and ensure that all staff are aware of their compliance responsibilities.
  3. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  4. Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and ensure that the firm's compliance policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
  5. Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to meet compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 4 years PQE.
  2. Proven experience in a compliance-related role within a legal practice.
  3. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
