Job Title: Head of Legal Practices

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Legal Practices to join our team at Law Staff Legal Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of compliance and regulatory adherence within our legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and implement compliance policies and procedures to maintain SRA authorization
  • Develop and maintain internal compliance policies and the Compliance Plan
  • Stay informed about regulatory and compliance changes, and implement procedural changes across the firm
  • Conduct staff training on compliance and client service quality
  • Report directly to the Head of Conveyancing and Directors on compliance matters
  • Provide regular status reports on the firm's compliance arrangements
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 4 years PQE
  • Ideally experience in a compliance-related capacity within a legal practice
  • Experience in handling client complaints, KYC and money laundering procedures, and regulatory compliance
Work Environment:

Our company offers a hybrid working arrangement, with one day a week based out of either Norwich or Derby offices. We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative individual who is both technically and legally astute.
