Job Title: Optical Engineer Specialist

The role of an Optical Engineer Specialist at Carbon60 - Eng&Tech Careers is to provide high-level technical support to customers worldwide. This includes fault diagnosis, maintenance, system repair, customer training, installation, and other technical activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault diagnosis, including optic/laser alignment, result monitoring, and analysis.
  • Laser setup using optical techniques.
  • Laser calibration using electronic control.
  • Improving laser build documentation.
  • Providing on-site repair and maintenance support to customers.
  • Offering telephone and email technical and fault-finding support.
  • Delivering customer/distributor training as required.
  • Carrying out installations from planning through to customer acceptance.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer files, including service records and documentation.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement, including product design and business process enhancements.
  • Collaborating with the sales management team to identify and develop sales opportunities.
  • Providing specialist support to other Company team members as needed.
  • Fulfilling a team player role by assisting in any area of the business to support customers, suppliers, or colleagues.
  • Following clean room procedures and protocols.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
