Job Title: Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Woking. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for the accurate processing of client payrolls across weekly, monthly, quarterly pay cycles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. PAYE Scheme Setup: You will be required to set up PAYE schemes with HMRC and maintain them accurately.
  2. Client & Employee Management: You will be responsible for maintaining and updating client and employee permanent changes.
  3. Ad-hoc Duties: You may be required to assist with other ad-hoc duties as needed.
  4. Pension Administration: You will be knowledgeable in the administration of auto enrolment pensions via payroll.
Requirements:
  1. Payroll Experience: Minimum 1-2 years experience working in payroll is essential.
  2. CIPP Technician: Having a CIPP technician qualification is preferred but not essential.
  3. Strong IT Skills: Strong IT skills including MS Office and databases are necessary.
  4. Experience with Payroll Software: Experience with either STAR/Iris or PayCircle is preferred but not essential.
  5. Personal Qualities: A team player, able to build relationships, work to tight deadlines, self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision, excellent customer care skills.
Salary & Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £32,000pa. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including opportunities for career development and progression.
