About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team based in Woking, Surrey. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for the administration of payroll and HR platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.

Job Description

This role involves end-to-end administration of monthly payroll processes, including collation and auditing of inputs for both UK and Ireland. You will reconcile payroll, benefits, and data, respond to employee queries, and adhere to payroll policies and procedures. Additionally, you will investigate and resolve discrepancies in payroll records, complete payroll reports, and work closely with our selected payroll bureau to ensure accurate processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end administration of monthly payroll processes
  • Reconciliation of payroll, benefits, and data
  • Responding to employee payroll queries
  • Maintaining adherence to payroll policies and procedures
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies in payroll records
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need extensive payroll experience, solid knowledge of payroll practice and laws, and strong systems skills. Dayforce/Ceridian experience is an advantage but not essential. Self-starter, motivated to provide the highest possible level of responsiveness and performance, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Attention to detail and quality of work are paramount.
