We are seeking a compassionate and non-judgmental Female Specialist Support Worker to join our team at our Complex Needs Service in London. As a key member of our team, you will work with young women who are homeless, care leavers, or ex-offenders with high support needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safeguarding and support to young women with complex needs
- Build strong relationships with residents and support them to achieve their goals
- Manage challenging behaviour while maintaining a supportive and approachable attitude
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independent living
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure comprehensive support
- Experience working with vulnerable young women, particularly those with high support needs
- Knowledge of safeguarding and trauma-informed care principles
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
We offer a 12-month fixed-term contract with a competitive salary and benefits package. As a female-led service, we are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for our residents and staff.
