Job Description

As a Customer Service Administrator at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Distribution Centre. Your primary responsibility will be to handle customer inquiries and maintain accurate records.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of the purchase ledger, from purchase requisition to invoice receipt.
  • Ensure all invoices are checked for compliance with expected costs and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Maintain local files to track capital and revenue spend.
  • Monitor site consumables and purchase these items to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Work with procurement to meet Chapeltown requirements.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for Chapeltown meetings.
  • Provide site inductions to contractors and visitors.
  • Ensure all MHE are serviced and repaired according to HSE guidelines.
  • Keep customer service KPIs and trackers up to date.
  • Update the Global Facilities Carbon Calculator to reflect site carbon footprint.
  • Respond to customer claims within agreed timescales.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer service-related queries.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in pharma and healthcare supply chain.
  • Contract Logistics warehouse administration experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Good knowledge of financial systems and month/year end process.
  • Self-starter capable of working with minimum supervision.
  • Flexible and able to work accurately under pressure.
  • Team player with self-drive to be proactive and add value.
  • Proficient MS Excel user and familiar with Stock Management System.
  • Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice.
  • Excellent attention to detail and record keeping skills.
