Experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
Vision for Education, a leading education supply agency, is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team at a Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEMH) school in Southampton.
The successful candidate will have experience working with students with complex needs and challenging behavior, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in creating a supportive learning environment that enables all students to access the curriculum and learn to their full potential.
- Work with students on an individual or group basis to support academic, physical, and emotional/behavioural needs.
- Develop and implement programmes of work tailored to individual students' needs, including Individual Education Plans.
- Maintain records and provide feedback to teachers on student progress.
Salary: £85 per day (paid using the PAYE system), subject to qualifications, experience, and scale rate.
