Key Responsibilities- Provide Emotional Support: Offer emotional and practical support to students, helping them with daily routines and activities.
- Monitor Student Well-being: Monitor the well-being of students and provide appropriate interventions when necessary.
- Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure the holistic development of each student.
- Support Independence: Support students in developing independence and life skills.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Residential Support Worker or in a similar role is desirable.
- Caring Nature: A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
- Qualifications and Certifications: An updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
- Safeguarding Commitment: A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
