About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). As a key member of our Department of Paediatric Trauma and Orthopaedics, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist care to children with orthopaedic conditions, including trauma and elective surgery
  • Participate in on-call rota for trauma and orthopaedic emergencies
  • Contribute to the development of our services, including clinical governance and audit
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for our patients

Requirements

  • Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Experience in paediatric trauma and orthopaedics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
