Job Summary

The Pre-Sales Technical Engineer will provide technical expertise to support the sales teams and reseller channel in facilitating product sales to larger enterprise customers. This role requires a strong knowledge of IT systems and the threat landscape, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the sales team in handling technical enquiries from larger end-user customers
  • Discuss technical aspects of products with end-users
  • Train resellers and Eset staff on products and their application
  • Be a central source of knowledge for the sales and marketing teams on all aspects of the product, its licensing, and impact/integration in broader IT systems
  • Participate in sales strategy planning, customer design, technical evaluations, and sales calls
  • Provide technical sales advice to internal and external sales teams on specific enquiries
  • Undertake product training sessions for Eset staff and resellers
  • Prepare and undertake monthly product webinars to the reseller channel and end-users
Requirements
  • Previous experience providing technical support to end-users and resellers
  • Experience with security software and their application within an IT environment
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructures using a wide range of OS
  • Previous experience delivering training and presenting IT products
  • Project management experience
