Residential Child Support Worker Role

This role involves working in a residential setting to support children and young people with learning difficulties and/or emotional behaviors.
The successful candidate will have experience working as a Senior Support Worker, leading a team, and supporting junior members of staff. They will also be responsible for managing on-call responsibilities, ensuring the home meets its regulatory requirements, and staying up-to-date with relevant legislation and policies.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Experience working as a Senior Support Worker with children and young people with learning difficulties and/or emotional behaviors.
- Possess an NVQ 3 (or above) in Children and Young People (or equivalent) or be willing to complete this qualification.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
The estimated annual salary for this role is £30,800 - £33,500, which reflects the title, job description, and location. The role offers additional payments for overtime and sleep-ins.
