Artistic Operations Manager

ArtsHub (UK) Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Art Direction Manager to join our team. As a key member of our artistic administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our productions, from initial planning to final performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Production Management: Coordinate the management of production staff, including recruitment, contracts, and scheduling.
- Artistic Administration: Assist the Head of Artistic Administration in managing the artistic aspects of productions, including rehearsals, meetings, and costume fittings.
- Communication: Ensure effective communication with all members of the company, including production staff, creative teams, and performers.
- Logistics: Coordinate the setup and management of internal and external venues, including ticketing and accommodation arrangements.
- Financial Management: Assist with the handling of petty cash, receipts, credit cards, and order forms, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in a creative/arts management, coordination, or administrative position.
- Proven track record in managing multiple tasks at once and meeting deadlines, with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience in tracking expenditure or budget management.
- Diplomatic and supportive approach to working with others as part of a busy and collaborative team.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to stay calm in highly pressured situations.
- Up-to-date understanding of existing legislation and best practice in all aspects of production health and safety.
- Familiarity and experience of working with Microsoft Office software.
- An interest in live performance and the arts.
