Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Loungers. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to meet our customer expectations.
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Support the team in maintaining a positive and productive kitchen environment.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve excellent customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or equivalent role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work at pace, with limited supervision, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
