Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a dynamic primary school in Lambeth (SW9). The ideal candidate will have experience in providing individual and group support for children with Special Educational Needs.
About the Role:
- Work closely with the class teacher to support students' academic and personal development.
- Provide 1:1 and small group assistance for children with Special Educational Needs.
- Encourage students to build confidence and self-esteem with focused support and tailored strategies.
- Engage with children who may have Autism, ADHD, and/or Challenging Behaviour.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant.
- Ability to provide effective 1:1 support for children with Special Educational Needs.
- Strong understanding of child learning and development.
- Great communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
- Dedication to helping students build confidence and self-belief.
Important: All applicants must understand safeguarding and child protection requirements. A full background check, including an enhanced DBS on the update service, is required.
