Apricus Resourcing are working with a reputable charity who are now searching to hire a Housing Support worker for an ongoing locum position based from Brixton.

Within your role you will be aiding service users in finding suitable accommodation in line with client led actions identified and agreed in their action support plans with organisational policies always at the forefront of your work. You will be responsible for delivering housing related support to adults who have a range of needs, your work will go a long way to prevent homelessness through promoting or maintaining independent living skills required to move on.

**Other key duties in your role will include**:

- Carrying out Housing Management functions including the collection and management of rent, reporting of repairs and managing the beginning and end of tenancies/licences at the schemes
- Maintaining accurate service users’ records and all other records relating to the upkeep and maintenance of the service, this includes electronic based records on the organisational system.
- To assist with domestic tasks, when appropriate
- Encourage and promote effective multi-agency working to ensure that the risks of services users are mitigated and that the needs and aspirations of service users are met to a high standard, including establishing close contacts with various communities, statutory and voluntary organisations.
- Provide relevant support in accordance to the client’s range of needs via support and safety planning and aspirations assessments and through 1-2-1 keywork sessions.

In order to be considered for the role you will need to have a real desire to work within the housing sector and a passion for supporting people who are in a vulnerable situation. You’ll also need excellent written and verbal communication skills & creative Problem Solving skills including Conflict Resolution.

In return for your commitment, we the service are able to offer a rate of pay of £14.26 per hour working 37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri 9-5

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
