The main purpose of this role is to promote the delivery of an innovative, customer focused programme as well as manage the property Disrepair claims process. In addition, you will ensure delivery of property management health and safety compliance and process servicing certification for assets that fall within the remit of Property Services.

This is a role which combines delivery of property compliance and legal disrepair works which would suit someone interested in a profession that combines a focus on people and one of their most fundamental needs, a safe quality home. **Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Check certificates and naming conventions against set validation criterion. Load approved certification into relevant system and ensure data loads are made correctly.
- Highlight contractor performance to operational teams in relation to certification to support continuous improvement.
- Input service dates to relevant systems to ensure our data is robust and accurate. Highlight, report, and investigate data discrepancies.
- Interrogate systems to retrieve, information to capture, check, and process legal and statutory documentation accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with regulatory and policy &process requirements in relation to disrepair enquires/notices
- Undertake day to day management of the disrepair cases to include resident liaison, appointment scheduling and solicitor updates.
- Meet with customers on a daily basis in-line with the ongoing planned maintenance programme to ensure customers are fully aware of the works being undertaken and to deal with any potential enquiries

**To be successful in this role you will require**:

- Substantive experience in property management in a comparable organisation including delivering services in a customer-focused environment
- Previous experience in a customer focused, high quality compliance, planned and cyclical maintenance programme
- Experience of stock condition databases and management
- Experience of Disrepair case management
- Working knowledge of data management systems to capture and update data sets.
- Experience of successfully managing compliance and, being responsible for managing risk

**Overall Aim**

This role will:

- Promote the delivery of an innovative, customer focused programme ensuring a clear understanding of customers’ needs and expectations and ensuring these are surpassed.
- Ensure the delivery of property management health and safety compliance and best practice and work to ensure that Housing for Women is compliant with health and safety legislation and landlord and tenant law relating to property management.
- Accurately validate and process servicing certification for assets that fall within the remit of Property Services (e.g., passenger lifts, playgrounds, fire safety equipment, fixed wire, gas, and water) to allow for accurate reporting of HfW’s compliance levels with servicing, assessment, and maintenance responsibilities.
- Effectively manage the property Disrepair claims process to a high standard ensuring a seamless and efficient service is offered to customers of Housing for Women. Support service areas to investigate cases by allocating tasks, chasing resolution and quality assuring the responses, as necessary.
- Provide administrative support to Housing for Women’s Legal Disrepair cases by ensuring that data is managed and analysed in a timely and effective manner and documents are collated and submitted to our legal representatives
