About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi UK. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores, motivating and developing a diverse and talented team, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, including managing stock, controlling costs, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Lead and develop a team of retail professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of store plans, including sales targets, customer service initiatives, and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to identify and address any issues or concerns, and implement solutions to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of delivering results and improving performance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities.
