About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi UK. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in leading a diverse and talented team, motivating and developing them to achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of store strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, stock control, and supply chain logistics.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets, minimize costs, and optimize operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive results.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £35,625 - £43,440, plus a London allowance of £1,935.
  • A flexible 40 or 45-hour contract, with opportunities to work a 40-hour contract over 4 days.
  • 4 weeks annual leave, plus bank holidays, rising to 5 weeks after 2 years.
