Band 7 Practitioner Psychologist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Band 7 Practitioner Psychologist to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery and operationalisation of an integrated model of physical and psychological care for victims of trauma at the Royal London Hospital.
Main Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychology input to the planning, development, and delivery of the RLH MTC pathway, focusing on over eighteen-year-olds.
- Support after-trauma care across the pathway, from the ward and into the community, both directly and indirectly, through staff and carer consultation.
- Teach and train nursing and other multi-disciplinary colleagues on psychological and/or neuropsychological theory and practice, as required.
- Provide clinical supervision to assistant psychologists, as needed.

Person Specification- Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council.
- Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or its equivalent) as accredited by the BPS and HCPC.
