About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practitioner Psychologist to join our innovative multidisciplinary Acute Stroke Service at St Thomas' Hospital. The successful candidate will provide specialist clinical services to individuals with stroke and other neurological conditions, as well as senior support within the multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist neuropsychological expertise in assessment and evidence-based approaches
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
  • Develop and implement complex multi-media materials for presentations
  • Contribute to the development of the service and the team
Requirements
  • Doctorate-level qualification in clinical psychology, counselling psychology, or health psychology
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Full membership of the BPS division of clinical, health, or counselling psychology
  • Experience of working with adults presenting with acquired neurological difficulties
  • Ability to work autonomously with appropriate clinical and managerial supervision
