Practitioner Psychologist – Prison Mental Health

Compass Associates is collaborating with a leading provider of specialist healthcare to recruit a Practitioner Psychologist for a well-established MDT at their prison service in Southeast London.

You will be supported by the Mental Health and Psychology Leads, conducting psychological assessments and interventions for complex cases, while delivering training and supervision to staff.

Criteria:

  1. HCPC Registration as a Practitioner Psychologist – Clinical, Counselling or Forensic

Shift Pattern:

Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Interview Process:

Three stages: an informal virtual conversation with the Psychology Lead, followed by a formal virtual interview.

Salary and Benefits:

This Practitioner Psychologist position offers a salary equivalent to Band 8a, up to £57,750 per annum, plus an industry-leading benefit package:

  1. 33 days Annual Leave (increasing with length of service)
  2. Emergency Leave for studies, family, etc.
