Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to specialize in functional gastrointestinal conditions with the Biofeedback Team. As a Clinical Psychologist Band 7/8a, you will work at the interface of mental and physical health, providing a highly specialist psychology service to patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

Main Duties
  • Provide specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, and monitoring of outcomes for patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Contribute to creating a psychologically safe environment for staff, service users, and carers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Undertake service evaluation, audit, and research to support service development.
  • Work as an autonomous professional within BPS and HCPC guidelines and codes of conduct.
Person Specification
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • HCPC Registered
  • Post-doctoral training
  • Supervision training
