As a key member of the Mental Health team at NHS Ayrshire and Arran, we are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse to join our dynamic team at Woodland View, Ayrshire Central Hospital. This is an exciting development opportunity for a motivated RNMH to join the Mental Health ANP team in the role of Mental Health Unscheduled Care Service (MHUCS) Charge Nurse.
This developmental role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to learn and enhance their knowledge and skills essential to progressing into full MH ANP training. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with a range of mental health conditions and additional experience of working in the community, with specific exposure to phone triage and assessment would be desirable.
The successful applicant will work 37 hours per week and require a UK driving licence as car owner/driver is essential due to the potential need for undertaking assessments within both clinical and domiciliary environments.
Estimated salary for this role is £30-£40 per hour based on national averages for similar positions in the area.
