About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team at FiveRivers Environmental Contracting. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of projects, delegating tasks, and mentoring junior team members.
Main Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee the line management of consultant-level staff or junior team members, ensuring their performance aligns with project goals and company standards.
- Ecological Solutions: Draw on extensive expertise in ecological principles, geomorphology, environmental science, and design innovation to create and implement solutions that harness the natural environment's benefits to meet project goals.
- Biodiversity Enhancement: Identify approaches that promote and enhance biodiversity, ensuring that our projects have a positive impact on the environment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in environmental science, ecology, or a related field, as well as excellent project management and leadership skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas to stakeholders.
