Environmental Consultant

FiveRivers is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team of passionate and proactive industry experts. As a Senior Environmental Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of design team projects, delegating tasks, and mentoring junior team members.

• Project Management: Lead and manage the delivery of design team projects, delegating tasks, mentoring junior team members, and reporting to senior staff when additional support is required.
• Team Management: Ensure adherence to 5R processes and values while driving innovation and implementing improvements across the team.
• Bids and Tenders: Work with the Bids team and support estimators in the management, coordination, and production of high-quality fee proposals and technical quality responses leading to successful award of contracts.
• Business Development and Innovation: Support the Design and Build Manager in sales and key account management, while actively seeking new business development opportunities.

• Minimum 4 years in consultancy or equivalent
• Experience in designing solutions in the water environment (or similar industry)
• Experience in project management and has commercial acumen
• Experience of bidding and winning works in the environmental sector
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to present proposals

• Up to £37,500 per annum depending on level of experience

Please note, we're flexible on location but there will be a requirement to visit the office regularly, particularly when you first start. We are now based out of Codford, near Warminster in Wiltshire.
