Job Description: People Support Specialist

The Ampa group is seeking an experienced HR professional to support employees across the business, enabling a positive and collaborative work environment.

About the Role
  • Support and coach managers with people-related activities, tailoring approaches to diverse audiences.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and the recruitment team to ensure a great onboarding experience.
  • Lead the induction process for new starters, maintaining a positive experience from day one.
  • Provide quality advice on ER matters, working with senior teams as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with employees across the business.
  • Be the first point of contact for day-to-day activities and provide backup for the People Business Partner.
  • Lead or support organisational changes, managing correspondence and agreements.

Requirements
  • A positive attitude and excellent working relationships.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a People Advisor role.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing onboarding processes and ER cases.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise high volumes of work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive, willing to challenge, and confident in identifying improvements.

Additional Information

We offer a hybrid working arrangement and flexibility in office location. Our offices are situated in various locations across Sussex and the UK.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience.
