Job Summary

The Simmance Partnership is seeking a seasoned marketing professional to lead our innovation efforts. As the Head of Marketing Innovation, you will be responsible for creating and owning a three-year innovation pipeline that fuels incremental growth and shapes the product ranges of the future.

About the Role

We are a privately owned, well-established, internationally known natural healthcare business with a turnover of around £65m. Our goal is to double revenues in the next five years by fully exploiting the world of possibilities for new product development (NPD) and leveraging our collection of well-known household-named brands, manufactured in the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage your deep understanding of consumer insights and needs, category, and macro trends to drive value creation.
  • Identify key ingredients and compelling claims adhering to market nuances and regulatory requirements.
  • Optimise the delivery processes and execution of these propositions by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Build business cases and provide intelligent commentary and a strategic view at Board meetings regularly.
  • Lead a team of two and define the best ways of working and achieving optimal performance.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

Classical FMCG marketing training and profound experience in branded innovation roles.Strong interpersonal skills and bags of emotional intelligence (EQ).A constantly enquiring mind and a natural ability to lead and influence others.Adaptability and resilience, with a strong sense of self-confidence.Creative flair as a marketing entrepreneur and pioneer.
