Five Education Recruitment Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to join our team. As a specialist support worker, you will work closely with young people who have Autism and SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs, providing individualized support and guidance to help them thrive in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in the classroom and around the school, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement behavior management tools to help students manage their emotions and behaviors.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to differentiate instruction and ensure all students have access to the curriculum.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, helping them build resilience and confidence.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and/or young people with SEND, ideally Autism, SEMH, and/or SpLD.
  • Ability to demonstrate positive reinforcement and a patient, empathetic approach.
  • Right to work in the UK, without sponsorship or skilled worker visa.
  • Relevant references and DBS/police checks, if necessary.
