About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to join our team at Five Education Recruitment Limited. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with Autism and SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Support students in the classroom and around the school
  • Support students' social and emotional development, offering encouragement and guidance
  • Help the class teacher with differentiation to ensure all students can access the curriculum
  • Implement behavior management tools

Requirements:

  • Able to demonstrate positive reinforcement
  • Have an interest in supporting children/young people
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Relevant references and DBS/police checks if necessary
  • Able to work 5 days a week (term time only), 8:30-15:30
