Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Autism Support Professional to join our team at Five Education Recruitment Limited. As an Autism Support Professional, you will work closely with our team to provide support to young people with Autism and SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Support students in the classroom and around the school
  • Support students' social and emotional development, offering encouragement and guidance
  • Help the class teacher with differentiation to ensure all students can access the curriculum
  • Implement behaviour management tools

Requirements:

  • Able to demonstrate positive reinforcement
  • Have an interest in supporting children/young people
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Relevant references and DBS/police checks if necessary
  • Able to work 5 days a week (term time only)
