Job Title: Emergency Call Handler
Gi Group is seeking to appoint Emergency Call Handlers
We are looking for skilled individuals to join our team as Emergency Call Handlers. The successful candidates will be responsible for responding to incoming telephone calls, prioritizing emergency calls, and ensuring the timely and accurate answering and recording of all requests for emergency resources.
- Key Responsibilities:
- To act as the first point of contact for telephone callers on a 24-hour basis, working rotating shifts.
- To respond to all incoming telephone calls and prioritize emergency calls over non-emergency calls, placing lower priority callers on hold when required to achieve this.
- To ensure the timely and accurate answering and recording of all requests for emergency resources, including Doctors' urgent calls.
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly pay rate with additional pay for night shifts, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- A temporary to permanent contract with a 12-week probation period via agency.
- Full and paid training provided via a four-week course.
