Job Title: Parenting Assessment Manager - Social Worker

Job Summary:

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to manage our Parenting Assessment Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily running and supervision of the centre, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of support and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of social workers, prioritizing long-term support for families
  • Complete assessments and reports within deadlines, providing comprehensive and accurate information
  • Chair meetings and maintain positive relationships with involved professionals and agencies
  • Lead specific parenting programs, providing guidance and support to residents
  • Provide statements and court evidence when necessary, ensuring that our residents receive the support they need
  • Handle referrals and facilitate placement planning meetings, working closely with our team to achieve positive outcomes
  • Fulfill statutory duties in alignment with National Standards and Regulations, ensuring that our centre operates within the law
  • Possess a solid understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, staying up-to-date with changes and developments

Requirements:

  • Holds a degree or equivalent in social work
  • Ideal experience of managing or supervising social workers, with a proven track record of success
