About the Role:

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Parenting Assessment Manager - Social Work Specialist to join our client's team. As a key member of the centre's management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily running and supervision of the centre, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for vulnerable families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of social workers, prioritizing long-term support for families.
  • Complete assessments and reports within deadlines, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
  • Chair meetings and maintain positive relationships with involved professionals and agencies, promoting effective collaboration and communication.
  • Lead specific parenting programs, developing and implementing strategies to support families in achieving positive outcomes.
  • Provide statements and court evidence when necessary, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
  • Handle referrals and facilitate placement planning meetings, ensuring seamless transitions and support for families.
  • Work towards achieving and sustaining positive outcomes for children and families in their communities, aligning with National Standards and Regulations.
  • Fulfill statutory duties, maintaining a solid understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Experience of managing or supervising social workers, with a proven track record of success.
  • Current SWE registration, with a strong understanding of specialist PAM's assessments and psychodynamic frameworks.
  • Proficiency in parenting programs and safeguarding practices, with the ability to provide court evidence.
