About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Principal to lead our team at Bringhurst Primary School. As a Principal, you will be responsible for ensuring the educational success of the school and providing a high-quality educational experience for all children.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a vision for the school that aligns with the Trust's ethos and values.
  2. Lead and manage the school's staff to ensure they are equipped to provide an excellent education for all pupils.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the school's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them.
  4. Ensure that the school's curriculum is broad and balanced, meeting the needs of all pupils.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with parents, carers, and the local community to ensure that the school is responsive to their needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate staff and pupils.
  • Knowledge of current educational priorities and research into curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Commitment to promoting equality and diversity, and to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Bringhurst Primary School is a unique village primary school set in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside. The school has an excellent reputation and is very popular within its local community.

The school was again judged to be securely 'good' at its last inspection, and we are seeking a Principal who can provide the exceptional leadership that will steer the school to even greater success in the future.
