We are seeking a highly skilled Deployment Officer to join our team at HMP Rye Hill, a category 'B' training prison in Warwickshire. The successful candidate will support the centralised roster function, ensuring efficient deployment of operational staff to meet the prison's needs.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective rostering strategies to deploy operational staff efficiently.
  • Manage the Kronos system to ensure accurate records are maintained and promote its efficient utilisation throughout the prison.
  • Work closely with the Security Team to maintain prison security by following all security procedures and instructions.
  • Promote a positive Health & Safety culture to achieve British Safety Council 5 Star recognition.
  • Conduct thorough searches of vehicles, occupants, visitors, and their property upon entry or exit to ensure prison security.
  • Participate in internal and external vehicle escorts and patrols, adhering to contractual requirements.
  • Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and radio networks to maintain prison security.
