Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. This role involves providing specialist psychological support to children, young people, and families.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess and treat children, young people, and families using evidence-based therapeutic models.
  2. Develop and deliver training programs for staff and carers.
  3. Collaborate with residential care settings and local authorities to provide support and guidance.
  4. Engage in clinical supervision and continued professional development to maintain high service standards.
  5. Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist (or equivalent in Counselling/Forensic Psychology).
  • Experience working with children, young people, and families.
  • Knowledge and experience in addressing early trauma.
  • Experience in residential homes, adoption services, or related settings.
  • A strong understanding of psychological models for working with children who have experienced trauma and attachment disruptions.
  • Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months (or willingness to complete one if not currently held).
  • Eligibility to work in the U.K.

The estimated salary for this position is around £52,000 per annum, depending on experience.
