North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare Trust seeks a talented and experienced Senior Systemic Family Therapist to join our team at the Darwin Centre.

We are looking for an inspiring individual who wants to enhance their knowledge and skills within a young person inpatient setting, embracing a whole team approach to delivering a therapeutic service for younger people from the age of 12 - 18 years.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a qualified highly specialist systemic family therapy service, co-ordinating, developing and delivering a variety of family and systemic interventions.

This post provides a systemic overview of the family approach to the treatment of complex mental health disorders, in particular eating disorders.

The post-holder will be responsible for assessing patients referred for treatment, consulting with multi-disciplinary and multi-agency colleagues regarding the family treatment component of each patient's care, and formulating how family interactions are connected to diagnostic factors.

Key responsibilities include communicating sensitive information to clients, family carers and others, monitoring and evaluating progress during treatment, and producing reports on clients' progress.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Senior Systemic/Family Psychotherapist working in a related healthcare or social care setting and be UKCP registered as a Family Therapist.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 per annum, a comprehensive benefits package including excellent pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development and career progression.
