At North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare Trust, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people aged 0-18 years, with a strong understanding of mental health difficulties and the MOHO model of practice.

We offer a competitive salary of £42,000 - £59,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with professionals from various backgrounds, including psychiatry, nursing, psychology, social work, and CBT therapists.

  • Undertake assessment and therapeutic interventions using specialist knowledge and skills relevant to young persons' individual needs.
  • Liaise with schools and contribute to EHCPs to identify and meet young people's needs in educational settings.
  • Lead and plan management of treatment for young people in your clinical area, taking into account their emotional, cognitive, physical, psychological, sensory, and social needs.
