About the Role

This role will involve working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive hearing services to patients across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audiometric investigations, undertaking aural impressions, and providing hearing aid services to children and adults.

Main Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Conduct objective testing, including ERA and pure tone, impedance, and speech audiometry.">
  3. Advise patients and referring clinicians on management plans based on test results.">
  4. Document test results and ensure that patient reports are filed correctly.">
  5. Ensure that departmental child auditory rehabilitation protocols and procedures are up-to-date with national standards.">
  6. Communicate complex information to patients and their families.">

About Us

">

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including access to the NHS Pension Scheme and 27 days' annual leave rising to 33 days after five years' service.

Requirements

  • ">
  • BSc/MSc in Audiology or equivalent.">
  • At least three years' experience at Band 6 level in speciality.">
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.">
  • Experience of supervising and training students.">
