The Clinical Scientist/Specialist Audiologist role at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our team.

This position requires a skilled audiologist to provide comprehensive hearing aid services and audiometric investigations to the child population of Scarborough, working within national and departmental protocols.

We are seeking a candidate with expertise in assessing general auditory rehabilitative needs of hearing impaired adults and children, as well as experience in supervising and training students.

The successful candidate will have a strong educational background in Audiology or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years' experience at band 6 in the specialty.

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a generous relocation package of up to 30% of salary (capped at £18,000) to support with relocation expenses.

In addition, we provide access to the NHS Pension Scheme, 27 days holiday rising to 33 days (depending on NHS Trust service), and a variety of different types of paid and unpaid leave covering emergency and planned leave.
