Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Ina Grafton Gage Home. This is a full-time evening shift position that requires strong leadership and clinical skills.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of resident-focused delivery of care. This includes providing direct supervision, leadership, and education to other members of the healthcare team.

  • Estimated salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate and oversee all aspects of resident-focused delivery of care
  2. Provide direct supervision, leadership, and education to other members of the healthcare team
  3. Identify areas of education for capacity building in Registered Staff
  4. Act as a mentor and coach for registered Staff in clinical areas, communication, personal and professional development

Requirements

  • Experience in long-term care setting an asset
  • To undertake and meet all legal requirements within a context of promoting individuals' rights and measuring/reducing elements of risk
  • As a condition of employment, candidates are required to submit documented results of TB testing or a chest X-ray, as per Public Health requirements
  • COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment
