Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Site Coordinator to join our team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This role involves providing clinical leadership, site management, and HOOH coordination to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Corporate Operational team to develop and implement strategies that improve patient safety, satisfaction, and outcomes.

About the Role

This full-time position requires an individual with advanced nursing skills, experience in managing teams, and a strong focus on clinical excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating bed allocation, developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and providing guidance to nursing staff on clinical matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate bed allocation and develop strategies to improve patient flow and bed utilization
• Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient safety and outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and hospital operations
• Provide guidance to nursing staff on clinical skills and best practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve patient flow issues and optimize hospital resources

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a First Level RGN qualification, 2 years of experience in a senior nursing role, and a Diploma/Degree in a Health-related topic. They must also possess ALS/PLS certification, evidence of continued professional development, and post-reg specialist clinical learning. Additionally, they should demonstrate effective leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including access to the NHS Pension Scheme, 27 days holiday rising to 33 days, and opportunities for career development and growth.
