Employability Manager

FIND | Creating Futures is a specialist staffing business that services the Skills, Learning, Higher Education & Apprenticeship markets across the UK. Our client is an established independent training provider operating in the HE space, delivering degree courses in accountancy, business & management in partnership with two large Universities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain productive employer partnerships to generate employment opportunities for students and alumni.
- Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with employers and industry sectors to continue developing placement and professional development for students.
- Manage a database of placement providers with suitable opportunities and connect employers with students.
- Ensure accurate work placement and student records are maintained using the placement tracker and compile reports as needed.
- Develop online resources to support students undertaking work placement opportunities.
- Conduct one-to-one meetings with students to prepare them for placements and deliver pre-placement preparation workshops.
- Support on-campus activities, present information, deliver workshops, and participate in events such as job fairs.
- Maintain regular contact with students and employers to monitor placement progress and resolve any issues.
- Prepare reports on placement activity and contribute to placement briefings.
- Drive and implement the Employability Framework and other activities relevant to student career interests.
- Lead on the development and implementation of internal employability frameworks.
- Provide advice on CVs, covering letters, and recruitment processes, and conduct mock interviews and application reviews.
- Facilitate the full recruitment cycle, including advertising opportunities, shortlisting candidates, and providing feedback.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in careers services, placement environments, or recruitment services roles within further education, higher education, or apprenticeships.
- At least a level 3 IAG qualification.
Location: Onsite at either Stanmore, Dudley, or Nottingham Campuses
Salary: Up to £35,000
