Additional Support Needs Assistant (Temporary)

We are seeking a committed and experienced individual to work with young people/pupils with Additional Support Needs as an Additional Support Needs Assistant.

You will be deployed to support young people within schools and other establishments across Renfrewshire, working under the direction of nominated class teachers in partnership with the head teacher/head of establishment.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience of working with and/or caring for Pre 5, Primary or Secondary age children, with demonstrable literacy, numeracy skills and experience of ICT equipment and associated software packages.

This is a temporary post, subject to business needs and funding, which may last for 8 months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is earlier.

If appointed, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.

Estimated Salary: £25,500 - £31,650 per annum, depending on experience.
